Preparing for Your In-Clinic CPAP Appointment

How to book an appointment?

  1. Contact us on 1300 76 29 39 to enquire about the earliest availabilities at our clinics and make an appointment
  2. Let us know the nature of your appointment, it would be helpful to know the brand and model of your machine and mask when making the call
  3. Closer to the date, we will either give you a call or send a text message to remind you of the date, time and location of your appointment as well as any specific items that we may require for you to bring.
  4. If you are unable to speak English, please bring along a friend or relative who will be able to assist with translating.

Preparing for your CPAP appointment

Before your appointment with your CPAP consultant, it might be a good idea to have a think about the nature of the consultation and what your concerns are. Sometimes it can help to make a list of questions to ask the consultant during the appointment to keep you on track. Keep a record of your specific symptom you have or you are experiencing as it may be helpful towards troubleshooting your concerns. Appointment Checklist: • Any sleep study results • Pressure prescription from specialist (if applicable) • CPAP Machine and/or CPAP Mask (must bring if you need data download or troubleshoot) • DVA card (if applicable)

What to expect at your appointment

  2. Waiting Period Our consultants try to maintain on time to your appointment booking, however, delays do occasionally occur. This can be due to unavoidable issues such as urgent patient fit-ins, and other unpredictable events that may occur on the day. We appreciate your patience and understanding during such delays.
  3. Cancellation If you are unable to attend an appointment, please contact us on 1300 76 29 39 to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
  4. Smoke free All of our clinic locations are smoke free environment. Smoking is a serious risk to your health and the health of others and it is prohibited within all areas of our clinics including entrances and outside areas. The use of electronic cigarettes are also prohibited on these premises.
