ResMed AirCurve 10 CS PaceWave 4G
The AirCurve 10 CS PaceWave is an adaptive servo-ventilator specifically designed to treat patients exhibiting central sleep apnoea (CSA), mixed sleep apnoea and periodic breathing, with or without obstructive sleep apnoea
Featuring the most clinically-studied ASV algorithm, AirCurve 10 CS PaceWave is the only adaptive servo-ventilator that targets the patient’s own recent minute ventilation.
This product is an electrically powered device using bi-level positive airway pressure to treat patients requiring non-invasive ventilation. The device may be used in the home or hospital. Resmed humidifiers are indicated for the humidification of air delivered to the airway during continuous, automatic and bilevel therapy. ResMed humidifiers are used in conjunction with ResMed Flow Generators. ALWAYS FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FOR USE.

1. ASVAuto Mode
ASVAuto mode adapts to a patient’s ventilatory and upper airway stability needs on a breath-by-breath basis. By treating central breathing disorders with auto-adjusting Pressure Support and upper airway obstruction with auto-adjusting EPAP, it rapidly stabilises breathing and blood gases helping improve sleep quality.12 PaceWave is the most clinically studied ASV therapy.
2. ASV Mode
In ASV mode, the EPAP can be manually titrated to set the optimal fixed EPAP to keep the upper airway open.
3. Easy-Breathe
Easy-Breathe pressure waveform mimics the wave shape of normal breathing and replicates it for the patient’s breathing comfort.
4. Continuous Leak Management
This enables reliable delivery of therapy pressure while maintaining patient-device synchrony.
5. Climate Control
The Climate Control system comprises the HumidAir™ humidifier and the ClimateLineAir™ heated tube and is designed to deliver constant, comfortable temperature and humidity.
NOTE: Ventilators do require either a valid prescription or an attending specialist to pre-set to therapy pressure before use.
If you do have an existing BiPAP prescription but you are not too sure which machine is compatible for your therapy needs. Please contact us on 1300 76 29 39 or email your prescription to info@thecpapclinic.com.au

Q&A for Resmed Airsense 10™ 3G devices
Why is ResMed ANZ moving back to Airsense 10™ 3G devices from 4G?
We have recently learned that there is greater availability of 3G cellular modules than 4G. As there has been a significant increase in demand and supply delays of our Airsense 10™ 4G devices in the short term, we have taken the opportunity to utilise these 3G cellular modules to provide the ANZ market with increased availability of devices.
Are there any functional differences between Airsense 10™ 4G and 3G devices?
There are no functional differences between Airsense 10™ 4G and 3G devices.
How long will Vodafone support its 3G network?
At this stage, there is no confirmed date for when the 3G network will be decommissioned in Australia and New Zealand by Vodafone.
Will there be an option for customers to upgrade their Airsense 10™ 3G cellular module to 4G if 3G is decommissioned within the next couple of years?
If Vodafone decommissions its 3G network within the warranty period of a customer’s Airsense 10™ device, ResMed will offer customers a free upgrade of their device’s cellular module to 4G. Customers can continue to use myAir to track their therapy progress and be remotely managed by their healthcare provider if required. When Vodafone officially communicates its 3G sunset dates for Australia and New Zealand, ResMed will advise Authorised Dealers of the 4G upgrade process affected customers can undertake. This will only apply to Airsense 10™ 3G devices purchased by customers from October 2021 onward.
